The Association of Kazakhstani students in Great Britain will be celebrating our very first birthday with friends and partners with whom we have worked with throughout the year. It has been an incredibly busy, amazingly productive and overall fascinatingly fun year for all of us and we hope to celebrate this emotionally important for us day in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. We will be presenting our guests with a slideshow of all our 30+ past events and achievements as well as introducing our up-coming events.
This will be the perfect time to talk to us in a relaxed atmosphere about anything that might be of interest or find out more about the organization as a whole. You will have the opportunity to meet and network with all the wonderful people we have collaborated with to produce impressive results.
Doggett's is well served by public transport. Waterloo station is a 10 minute walk away whilst Blackfriars and Southwark stations are minutes away. London bus routes 45, 63, 100 & RV1 run to and from stops within yards of the venue.
We hope to see everybody at the event and celebrate the very beginning of our history.
Spring is here and we're all excited!
AKS-GB presents another marvelous celebration of 8th of March, international women's day. In line with tradition and precedent our guys have once again prepared an amazing show to congratulate our ladies and give them a genuinely original gift from their hearts. What else could be more original than songs, performances, and sketches prepared specially for our ladies?
Runway is a wonderful brand new club and under a week old! The stylish decor of the venue is a perfect backdrop for such a festive occasion and the already humbled (for London club standards) prices of the menu make it even more affordable for student. What's more AKS-GB guests will even get a discount for all orders!
So what are you waiting for? Call us up, reserve your seats and tables and get ready to Celebrate!!!

In 2009 they have toured Kazakhstan with acclaimed British pianist Sophia Rahman. An enthusiastic solo musician, Botagoz has been a guest soloist with various orchestras in Kazakhstan and UK, performing violin concertos by Bach, Mozart, Bruch, Saint's-Saens and Khachaturyan in Almaty, Astana and London. She has also performed at masterclasses and festivals in Europe, most recently in UK, Italy and Switzerland.
The Orchestra of Situation Opera is one of London's most exciting young groups, performing the extraordinary music of the Age of Mozart and Haydn with an emphasis on historically informed style, instrumentation, technique and phrasing. As well as being the resident ensemble of Situation Opera, the Orchestra can be heard regularly performing in and around London.
