The Association of Kazakhstani Students in Great Britain is pleased to announce that the executive committee has now undergone some changes that will place the association in the best position to achieve it's long term strategy.

The Association is facing the unique transformation coherent with the long term strategy, with new departments being introduced:

  • Marketing Department
  • Human Resources
  • Customer Relations
  • Charity Department

We are pleased to welcome new members of our team: Altair Birlik who has taken over as a director of Corprorate Relations department and will concentrate on the funding activities of the Association as well as providing career services to members of the association. Altair will be joined by Ayatkhan Khassanov as an officer and Aiymgul Tulegenova as an Alumni Manager. You should hear from them shortly.

To ensure that we collect the feedback and continue providing quality services and to facilitate active involvement in the decision-making process by the members of the association. Association we have introduced the Customer Relations department which will be headed by Gaukhar Tapelova, we very much welcome her and wish her a successful term as one of the members of the Board. We would also like to welcome new members of the team Malika Kurmangalieva and Adilet Utessin who will join Gaukhar in the CR department.

We are also pleased to announce that Gaini Umarov has been promoted to the board of directors and will now head the Public Relations department, we congratulate him on this appointment and wish him the best of success in his work. Gaini will be joined by Nadya Ospanova and Ardak Orazaliyeva as officers of the PR department. We would like to welcome Nadezhda and wish her a successful year.

Zarina Beissembay has been promoted into the members of the Board of Directors and now heads the newly established Charity Department and will manage relationships with charity organisations such as Red Crescent and the UNICEF. We would also like to welcome Victor Ogay and Dias Kamaliev as officers of this newly established department and wish them best of luck in their work.

We would like to welcome Akzhol Kurmanbayev and Nurzhan Mukaev. Akzhol will be heading the Sports Department and Nurzhan will join him as an officer. We thank them for joining the AKS-GB team and wish them the best of luck.

AKS-GB believes that its most important assets are people, and therefore has established an HR department which will be concentrating on recruiting new members into the executive committee. We are pleased to announce that Olzhas Sultanbekov has been promoted into the members of the board and will be heading the HR department. He will be joined by Nazgul Kulbayeva and Olzhas Zhienkulov, we would like to thank Olzhas for joining our team recently and wish him the best of success in his work.

Marketing department will be headed by Daniyar Mussirov, Daniyar has been promoted to the members of the board of directors and will run the depatment joined by Dias Mussirov and Mamed Kurbanov, we welcome them both as new members of the team and wish them the best of luck.

We are pleased to announce that Almas Taukenov has been promoted into the members of the board and will take over the Finance department joined by Anuar Utessin and Alexander Zubenko. We welcome Anuar and Alexander into our team and thank them for joining, also wishing them luck in their work.

Aigerim Dzhakisheva has taken over the Events department and has been promoted to the members of the board, joined by Alen Kokumbayev and Yersain Yerzhan. We welcome Alen into our team and wish him the best of luck.

Yelden Sarybay has departed from the PR department and will now head the Organisational Development department where he will concentrate on work with other non-for profit student organisations. He will also concentrate on developing strategic partnerships and ensuring that the organisation is heading in the right direction. Yelden will be joined by Alua Kachshapova and Didar Ibraimov who have both recently arrived into the Association, we would like to welcome them and wish them best of luck with their work.

Akhmet Albakov has remained the director of Cultural and Academic development, helping the members further their cultural interests and academic needs. English Language support classes will be launched soon to provide this extra help for our members. Akhmet will work with Indira Makhmutova and Anton Sulanov who are both newly joined members of the committee, we welcome them and wish them the best of luck.

Andrei An will take over the magazine function of the Association as a Chief Editor following Rustam Mashanlo's departure. We would like to wish Andrei the best of luck! We can't wait for the first issue of the magazine to be officially released.

Association of Kazakhstani Students has now existed just under 10 months and is committed to providing high quality services to its members. The 10 months to date have shown commitment of the members of the executive committee and significant progress.

During this time AKS-GB has provided support to several charity organisations, has built up strategic links with the People's Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan, performed two major charity events and has constantly improved its performance.

Today the Association still remains in the process of restructuring, and new developments will be reported to our members shortly. The Charter of the Association, the Articles of Association and the company accounts will be publicly available on our website.

For the 10 months to date, the existance of AKS-GB and their hard work, we would like to thank the departing directors of the Association:

Rustam Mashanlo has also departed the Association, previously he has held the position of a Chief Editor, we thank him for the first issue of the "SALEM UK" magazine that will be released soon. His ideas and contributions are invaluable and his work will benefit the organisation today and in many years to come.

 

We thank all the members of the Association and the Members of the Executive Committee as well as the Board of Directors for their hard work, commitment, patriotism and happy memories and moments that would not exist otherwise in our memories and wish them the best of luck.
